"I make these to look more as a flower. I gave them out at Christmas at the VA hospital that I use one year and I painted some Christmas colors and some for Channukkah colors and some just pretty flower colors. I did it that way because there are Christians, Jews, and people who don't believe in the holidays but they all got a present. I made over 1,000 of them and they were all well received. Unfortunately my hands are not what they used to be. I wish I could make them now and give them out. I think I would make about 5,000 this year because there are more veterans that need the cheer."

"I have been handing out and sending holiday cards to my family and friends since I was a teen. My mom always let me pick out my ow pack and I made out my own cards, separate from the ones my family gave out. It gave me a sense of independence and of course I felt the amazing feeling of Christmas giving at the same time. So when I was presented with a challenge from Duck Brand? to create a project to Duck the Halls?with Duck Tape?, I knew just what to do – DIY Holiday Cards!"
