"I make these to look more as a flower. I gave them out at Christmas at the VA hospital that I use one year and I painted some Christmas colors and some for Channukkah colors and some just pretty flower colors. I did it that way because there are Christians, Jews, and people who don't believe in the holidays but they all got a present. I made over 1,000 of them and they were all well received. Unfortunately my hands are not what they used to be. I wish I could make them now and give them out. I think I would make about 5,000 this year because there are more veterans that need the cheer."

Coconut Rose Petal Soap

"Soap-making has become quite a hobby of mine. I enjoy mixing different scent and color combinations, and I also like adding fun things, like dried rose petals. They really make this coconut rose petal soap look beautiful! I added some rose fragrance oil to give it that lovely scent too! *This post contains affiliate links. This coconut rose petal soap is super easy to make, even for a beginner. Trust me, I was a beginner just two months ago! The trick is to use a melt and pour soap base because it’s simple to use and you won’t have to work with lye. One day, I may try the cold process soap making, but for now, I’ll just stick to what is easy!"
