I definitely need to watch a video tutorial on how to fold these magazine strips to make this beautiful bowl. Your guests would wonder where you purchased it from but they won't guess that it's handmade. Plus you get to recycle some paper and reduce your waste at home.

I am not sure what is so intriguing about this project. Is it the fact that I will have a useful vessel to hold items such as crafts, keys or just be used to decorate the home. Or that the vessel is constructed out of used no longer needed magazines. At any rate, both reasons are reason enough to complete this recycle project.

I can hardly wait to try my hand at this project. I have a stash of ever growing magazines that I just hate to throw out. If my project turns out great, everyone in my family will be getting one of these, one of a kind creation for the holidays.

I've seen something similar in stores, but making your own is much more economical. Plus, what a great conversation piece! No one would guess this bowl is made out of recycled magazines.
