"I make these to look more as a flower. I gave them out at Christmas at the VA hospital that I use one year and I painted some Christmas colors and some for Channukkah colors and some just pretty flower colors. I did it that way because there are Christians, Jews, and people who don't believe in the holidays but they all got a present. I made over 1,000 of them and they were all well received. Unfortunately my hands are not what they used to be. I wish I could make them now and give them out. I think I would make about 5,000 this year because there are more veterans that need the cheer."

Valentines Day Melt And Pour Soap

"Learn how to put embeds in melt and pour soap for this fun Valentine's Day soap recipe. Embeds are small pieces of soap that you can place inside the bar of soap for a fun new look. I used a small heart shaped chocolate mold to make little heart soaps. Then I poured several layers to trap the hearts inside the bar. When you cut the soap, it has hearts throughout the bars. This is an easy technique, and it can help you use your existing molds in new ways."
