Add a sparkly accent to your holiday tree decor with this Easy Angel Ornament project. By adding a simple glittery touch to your finished project you can have a stunning Christmas decoration that's bound to bring your tree to life!  Perfect for using as gift tags or even mantel decor, these glittery angels will make your Christmas merry and bright.  You can have fun with the kids using this project as well! Use colored glitters to have multicolored angels of all different varieties! You could even string them together to make one beautiful garland.

  • Simple paper mache angel
  • White or off white paint and foam brushes
  • Mod Podge
  • Glitter

How to Make an Easy Angel Ornament

Instructions

  1. Paint both sides of the angel and let it dry.

  2. Paint on a layer of Mod Podge and sprinkle it with glitter. Let it dry.

  3. Add another layer of Mod Podge and glitter. Let that layer dry.

  4. Add a final layer of Mod Podge over the glitter and let it dry.

  5. Do the other side of the angel following the same plan.

Simple enough and they would be pretty displayed anywhere, but why buy angels? It would be easy to cut them from cardstock or pasteboard, then decorate them in various ways. Crafts like this make me look forward to decorating for Christmas, but I can't spend a lot of money on it, so I am always looking for cheaper ways to do it!
