Materials List

  • Florence • Watercolor paper Smooth White A4 10pcs 300g
  • Florence • Cardstock smooth A4 Black
  • Vaessen Creative • 3-in-1 hang-tag punch
  • Vaessen Creative • Love It bakers twine 4x 10m
  • Vaessen Creative • LED Lightpad A4
  • Studio Light • Aquarelset Jenine's mindful art 2.0 nr.01
  • Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen soft tip black

  1. Print out the pdf of the drawing in the attachment and trace over it onto watercolour paper. You can use the Vaessen Creative lightpad to help you with this.

  2. Fill your brush pen with water and start with the lightest watercolour paints. Allow the brush to absorb the colour from the watercolour palette. Use sweeping motions.

  3. To get the colour on your brush to run nicely, press the brush flat onto the paper so that the water makes the colour lighter. Apply the paint in layers.

  4. Cut out the watercolour paper and stick it onto a sheet of cardstock cut to A5 size. Cut a piece of black cardstock to 20cm x 3.6cm and use the tag punch to punch on 2 sides.

  5. Write a nice quote on a leftover piece of watercolour paper using the Fudensuke pen. Stick this onto the tag you made and attach it to the card using baker’s twine.
