"Celebrate Easter by making DIY Easter decorations with your little bunnies! This craft is a wonderful craft that is easy for kids of all ages, and can be made with items you most likely already have around the house: cardboard tubes, googly eyes, construction paper, pipe cleaners, pom poms, glue, scissors, and markers. This quick and easy craft works for Sunday school Easter parties, school Spring celebrations, and fun Spring crafting at home, with the family. "

Materials List

  • Cardboard Tubes
  • Construction Paper
  • Googly Eyes
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Markers
  • Scissors
  • Pom Poms

  1. After gathering supplies, invite kids to cut ears for their bunny from the construction paper. We used 2 pieces of construction paper to give our bunnies an inner and outer ear.

  2. Tip: You may want to draw ears for younger kids to cut out.

  3. Glue the bunny’s ears to the front of the cardboard tube.

  4. Glue a little pom pom to the top of the cardboard tube to make a little nose for the bunny. Draw whiskers and a little smile with a black permanent marker.

  5. Next glue 2 wiggly eyes above the bunny’s nose.

  6. Last, glue a pom pom to the back of the cardboard tube for the bunny’s tail. Kids will have a blast hoppity-hopping their little bunny all around!
