This is such a wonderful idea. I like that the designer has chosen to recycle her bandanas but the idea I like most is that the elastic cloth covers will fit different size bowls and are the washable. Instead of using the plastic wrap and throwing away after a single use, this will be very practical for those that tend to have leftovers.

My plan for this is to find and create these out of holiday prints so that my table can look just a pretty as when we first sat down to eat. Before the bowls are are stowed away in the fridge (if there are leftovers) this is how they can be left out until then.

I like these bowl covers, and I can find a real use for them, too! What a pretty way to keep insects out of the food for a backyard picnic! I don't have any bandannas around, but I do have some scrap fabric that would be just right for these.

I love this idea! I have about 20 Bandanas that I have been collecting to make a skirt that I never got around to doing. This Bandana DIY Bowl Cover is a great way to use some of them. Keep the flys out in the summer and the kids can use them too, so easy! I'm so going to make a few of these cute bowl covers.. Thank you so much for this Free craft idea.
