At first I thought "what a neat gift" but I would keep these for myself! The jars she used might be hard to find, especially if they're tempered to withstand heat. I think it would look good to use those half pint or pint sized wide mouth canning jars, too. I have seen some old squarish type half pints that would be great for this.
