"This is really cute. I like how the pom poms add a little touch of color and pep to the wreath without overwhelming the natural look of the pine cones."
"Love it, will try to make"
"This idea is just too cute! I have never worked with Shrinky Dink before but after seeing this, I may just try it out. Her tutorial makes it look so easy!"

- A ruler, preferably clear with easy guidelines
- Glue gun
How to Make the Fabulous Wreath from Toilet Paper Rolls
Flatten down each roll to prepare for cutting. This will form a fold at both the top and bottom to create the leaf shape.
Using your ruler, mark cutting lines depending on what thickness you want the wreath to be. The example shown used 1.5 inches, but you can go with whatever you think looks best. Cut along these guidelines to create as many individual leaf shapes as you can.
You will end up with a massive pile of toilet paper roll leaves.
Now start arranging the pieces into a wreath shape. Use a salad plate as a template to line the pieces up against. Lay a single ring of pieces around the plate to form the wreath's base.
Hot glue the pieces together to form a complete circle. This will form the inner edge of the wreath. Once this ring is complete, arrange the rest of the pieces around it in any fashion you like.
Arrange all the pieces in one layer at a time. Glue all the pieces in that layer before moving on to the next layer.
You could stop here, paint it, or add glitter and ribbon; the possibilities are endless. The wreath featured here was decorated using wax paper flowers, tan gross grain ribbon bows, and a few gold ornaments.
You might end up with extra leaves from your cardboard tubes, but don't let those go to waste! You could use them to make a mini wreath, or cut them into thinner widths to make gift wrapping adornments.
Be sure to hang your wreath indoors as it is not waterproof.

I know the designer has named this as a DIY Christmas decoration. There is no reason that could not be used any time of the year. Depending on the accents this could be a wreath that you could hang any time of the year.

I have been collecting toilet paper rolls for a while now because I saw a project I wanted to make. I would like to be able to make both projects, but I am liking this wreath more than the other project. At any rate, this will be the one I complete first. Thanks for the pictures.

Ok, I give up. Now I have seen it all. Who would have ever thought to make wreaths out of toilet paper rolls? And have them come out so Celt? This is a wonderful idea and recycling at its finest. To the one poster who called it unsanitary, um, how is it when you use the empty roll. There shouldn't be anything unsanitary on the empty roll. And we better start saving them because companies are starting to make toilet paper rolls without a center cone.

I've made individual star ornaments using toilet paper rolls before but I never thought about putting them together for a wreath. This has a really nice modern look to it and I'm going to give it a try. It's pretty and a great upcycling idea, especially if I make the flowers out of something recyclable too!

I was pleasantly surprised that this wreath didn't look like it was made out of toilet paper rolls. It's actually really cool!

Great Idea but I would use paper towel rolls instead of toilet paper rolls. Toilet paper rolls are very unsanitary!
