Winter can get dreary once the holidays end, so it's important to spend as much time as possible out in the sun. Luckily, with this idea for Frosted Solar Powered Mason Jar Lanterns, you can harness some bright, wintry rays and enjoy them long after the sun has gone down. After purchasing a few low-cost supplies and making these sweet, snowy crafts, hang them around your three-season room or place them on your windowsills. Your home will be aglow with soft, romantic light all night long. Visiting friends will be wondering how to make Mason jar lanterns of their own.

I have a few mason jars sitting around, waiting for just the right easy project! I can't decide if I want my lantern to look like white snow, or look like something else, with a bright colored glitter. I will probably make more than one lantern. Will these solar panels only work if the jars are hung outside? What if they are inside by a window where the morning or afternoon comes in, to recharge the panel?
