Add a beautiful glow to your Valentine's Day festivities when you create these DIY Valentine Heart String Lights! The easy Valentine's Day craft is fun to make and can be customized, too. Consider including your names or initials on each heart for a truly unique look!

From the blogger: "I love to decorate my home with string lights especially in the winter as it really brightens the place up. With this craft, I updated some copper string lights I had left over from my Christmas decorations for Valentine's Day. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter and some clear shrink plastic, I made some cute hearts to stick to the copper lights. These colorful Valentine hearts were made by coloring in the shrink plastic with Sharpies in pinks, reds, and purple before shrinking."

These are adorable. I never have worked with shrink before but this is something that I just have to try. It sounds extremely easy and the only supplies I need to buy is the plastic shrink so it will be a cheap project. Thank you for sharing this with us and for free!

A cute and easy way to decorate for Valentine's Day! I could see myself making a version of these string lights for every holiday.

This is such an interesting project! I would never have thought of using shrink plastic to make lights.

This is the first project that I have seen that uses the copper string lights. I think that they are very interesting and this is a great application for them. The work is a little involved but the finished project is heavenly. Thanks for the project idea.

Nothing feels as festive to me as string lights! This project would be a fun way to decorate my apartment.
