"I make these to look more as a flower. I gave them out at Christmas at the VA hospital that I use one year and I painted some Christmas colors and some for Channukkah colors and some just pretty flower colors. I did it that way because there are Christians, Jews, and people who don't believe in the holidays but they all got a present. I made over 1,000 of them and they were all well received. Unfortunately my hands are not what they used to be. I wish I could make them now and give them out. I think I would make about 5,000 this year because there are more veterans that need the cheer."

"Who knew there could be so many uses for empty cat litter containers? But once I saw one up close, I can think of lots of ways to upcycle these containers. I’m excited about my first upcycled cat litter bucket container – a DIY pool storage box. There are so many things you could store in these containers. It’s perfect for pool storage because the plastic bucket can handle wet pool towels and toys with no problem, can hold a lot of stuff and has a handle that makes it easy to carry to the pool and back."
