The florist wire idea is a good way to go, especially since I already have a ton of it on hand, and it is easier for me to,work with as I am older now and the hands don't always do the intricate moves as well! I think I would put a bit of glue of the pine comes and sprinkle some snowy or silver glitter on some of them just to add some interest, or even some red or green or even white buttons or beads here and there!

What a fantastic idea! I have loads of pinecones from our trees stashed for a special project. While I have come across other pinecone projects that I would like to do this one is really easy and quick. I plan on using the garland in my breezeway that has wood beams, paneling, and a stone floor. The only think I am going to change is the wire. I am going use green florist wire from the Dollar Tree. While I like the idea of using the thin metal wire I think using florist wire will be more cost effective for me. I also have loads of pretty antique Christmas ornaments that will also be perfect for this project!

Thank you, I was looking everywhere for a classy and stylish way to make a pinecone garland. I love that the design is easy to fit into any theme too. You can just add a different ornament. You could do shiny or glittery for parties, simple colors for particular themes. You could even add santa and the reindeer for a fun way to mix things up. Have you ever used letters to spell out the family name or Merry Christmas with the pine cones?
