These painted heart pennants are really nice and easy to make. A pennant is perfect for announcing a holiday or season or any celebration. The burlap background is painted white which makes the painted heart stand out however for a rustic look I would leave the burlap its natural color.

I love this banner...I made mine from ripstop for a more wear and tear outdoor banner...also, with ripstop, you don't have to sew the edges. If you want to sew the ripstop, remember to use a teflon foot and "invisible" tape on your throat plate, and hold on to the ripstop in front and back of your machine as you help it glide through your machine.
