I really like this. The whole wreathmaking process is different with this project. I like the subtle appeal of this sunflower. Most I see are really overwhelming and 'in your face' to me. The color is warm and sunny. I like it very much. I would leave it all in the one color too rather than mimic a big rust or brown colored center. It would be cute with a ladybug or butterfly embellishment. Do you think so?

I consider this project more a wall hanging than a wreath. Because my little niece enjoys watching bugs inside and outside, I know she will appreciate this easy project and will be more than proud to display it in her room. I am hoping she will enjoy helping me make it as well.

I would call this sunflower wreath "Welcome" instead of "Farewell". This would be just the item to hang on a door to welcome the season of summer. No matter what color tissue paper you elect to use, just keep it bright and I promise you, you will receive a lot of compliments with this easy diy project.

Really! I am not sure what I thought this wreath was made from but boy was I surprised to find out it is just a solid foam form covered in rolled tissue paper. I love this. Inexpensive and can be customized to suite your color decor. Great project.
