I love the way this lampshade do-over looks! What a fun and interesting way to use up some scraps and make a statement with a new shade. I think that the tutorial is well done and the steps are easy to follow to get a good result with this craft. If you pick up a shade at a thrift store or rummage sale that is damaged, this is a great way to use the frame and make your own shade. I have also seen doilies added to older shade frames and that look nice too.
