"Ah, that's how they're made! I remember making pinwheels like this when I was a kid but I couldn't remember how to attach the pinwheel to the pencil. I did remember using a pencil, though! So I am going to have to make a few for the 4th of July. Is there a way to make them so they would be safe for kids to play with?"

"These are definitely funky and fun flip-flops! And they look like they would be fun to make, too. I bet my granddaughters would get a kick out of these, or something like them, anyway. Since she used a bandanna, I think any cotton or cotton fabric would do just as well as long as it isn't too limp."

"I totally love this idea. It is an excellent way for me to display some of the wonderful messages from t-shirt graphics out there. I love a lot of these messages but feel like I'm getting to an age where they aren't what I want to wear. Carrying bags with funny or meaningful quips is a lot more desirable to me."

"That would make a great Christmas gift, too, and not just for Mom! I have two daughters, a daughter in law and two granddaughers (the ones old enough) who would appreciate this. You just made Christmas a little bit easier for me this year. And I will make some for myself, of course."

"The link takes you to the "home page" of the blog, but I couldn't find the colored glitter pencils on the site. I looked for awhile but gave up. It's either a bad link or the page isn't there any longer. I thought the granddaughters would enjoy these pencils but I may never know! )"
