This would be the perfect start to introduce a picky eater to a healthy fruit. I never had any trouble getting my kids to eat much of anything. However, I have heard the horror stories about kids and not wanting to eat certain items. Having them involved in the kitchen usually helps them at least try new things and because having them cut this fruit is way to dangerous, they could make their own paper pineapple and display it at the table prior to first indulgence.

Pineapple, one of my favorite tropical fruits - after I get past the itchy lips, lol. This paper craft is cute. Any child would like this paper craft. The project would work up quick and afterward we could surely have fresh pineapple just for the fun of it.

I never understood why everyone was crazy for pineapples! This makes me think differently because it is pretty cute. I know my cousins would love this because they're learning all about fruits and vegetables!
