I have been noticing this type of egg decoration this year and need to try my hand at making these. Since Easter is only a week away, I will likely be trying these this weekend. I like to make different types of eggs each year, just for fun. Since I have not made any rustic ones, this idea is on my list. I will embellish mine with some of my little paper flowers that I often use on my vintage style cards. Thanks for the great ideas!

I wish I had time to do everything I find here that I'd like to do! These eggs shouldn't take too long, though, and even with Easter right around the corner, I think I can find a minute to put together a few to add to the Easter centerpiece. I wonder how flat braids would look in place of the ribbon? Would it be too much with the twine?
