Okay. Now this is a cake recipe that I know I can handle. I am pretty swift icing a cake and this will take a regular round cake to the next level by making it look like a drum. Now that I think about it, the would have been a wonderful way to present a cake during Christmas. It was the Little Drummer boy after all that played for Him.

What a simple way to dress up a regular two-layer cake. Even if you do not have a drum theme going on or you just want to have cake, this is a easy way to make any day special.

What a creative little cake for the rocker in your family. You can use this in a cartoon theme with circus animals or with music notes and pictures to resemble a stage. What a fun way to make sure kids are involved too because the guests could help finish the drum with the pretzels and M M's while the star is getting ready or reading cards.

This is so cute! It's a simple design but you can totally tell that it is a drum. And the lollipop drumsticks - genius! #BestIdeaEver
