Trying to keep a small toddler or baby quite on a road trip can by a challenge so why not give them something to play with to keep them distracted. Why not make some of these tag toys with some of their favorite rattles or chew toys. The best part is that they are attached to the toy so you will not have to find all the toys when you get to you destination. All you need is some fabric and ribbon scraps. So let"s get sewing.

I can just see little fingers clutching those cute toys. They would be easy to get hold of (and safe for the mouth where they would immediately go). I have to say that the tutorial is really easy to follow. I don't sew well, but even I could understand and follow it. It would be interesting if the ribbon was of different widths, too.
