How to Make an Elegant Winter Wreath

Materials:
- Stampin’ Up snowflake punch
- Old 5” x 7” book (you need 50 pages)
- Hot glue
- 9 glass ornaments
- 24” silver cord
- 8 1/2” x 11” blue baja breeze cardstock
- 11” circle made out of cardboard (draw 7” inner circle)
- Silver glitter
- Ice crystal stickles
- Bendable wire
- 3 different colors of glass beads
- E6000 glue
- Stapler
- 3 white buttons
- Wire cutter
- Round nose plier
Instructions:
1. Cut 12 pieces of 6” long wire.
2. Glue 4 of the wires into star. Use the r6000 glue. Let dry.
3. Roll 33 pages of book pages into tubes. Staple 2 times to keep in place.
4. Roll 16 book pages at a diagonal to create a point on one end. Staple sides to secure roll.
5. Hot glue 4 rolled book pages about 3 - 4” from sides as shown.
6. Hot glue 4 more rolled pages in the middle of each space on wreath. Fill up the rest of the empty spaces to form the first layer.
7. Add another layer of rolled pages. Glue pages in between other glued pages to cover empty spaces.
8. Create another layer and hot glue pointed pages as shown in step 5.
9. Hot glue one pointed roll in the middle of each section, and continue until layer is complete.
10. Take glass ornaments and add reinker color to inside of ornament. Use about ½ teaspoon.
11. Cover ornament with tissue and shake.
12. Add ½ tsp. glitter to inside of ornament. Cover top and shake. Continue the same process to the rest of your glass ornaments, if desired.
13. Take wire star that you glued earlier, and thread beads in alternating colors.
14. To finish wires, bend wire to an “l” at the end of the wire.
15. Using round nose pliers, grab tip of wire and bend to a teardrop shaped loop. This will stop the beads from falling off.
16. Using snowflake punch, punch out 15 snowflakes with your blue cardstock.
17. Hot glue one white button to three snowflakes. Save 12 snowflakes for step 19.
18. Glue embellishment to middle of your beaded snowflake.
19. Add glitter to snowflake with stickles glitter. Let dry.
20. Hot glue glass ornaments into center of your wreath.
21. Glue your 3 glass bead snowflakes to your wreath.
22. Take your 12 paper snowflakes and glue in various places on your wreath.
23. Tie a knot in your silver cord. Hot glue cord to top, center of the back of your wreath.
24. Done!
