Enviable Cupcake Liner Card
Send a cute and fun St. Patrick's Day sentiment with this Enviable Cupcake Liner Card! Why is it enviable, you might ask? Because this handmade card has a flower embellishment cleverly made from a cupcake liner, and all your friends will want to know how you made it! Materials:
- 5” x 10” green cardstock, folded in half
- 4 ½” square light green cardstock
- 4” square light green cardstock
- 2 small cupcake liners
- Needle/thread, 18” long
- Scissors
- Liquid glue
- Glue gun
- Green button
- White cardstock
- Ek success title punch
- Leaf spray die cut
- Black ink
- St. Patrick’s Day stamp
- 6” ivory cotton lace
- 6” ivory flat back pearls
- Ranger forest moss distress ink
- Ranger tea dye distress ink
- Sponge piece for distressing
Instructions:
1. Distress 5” x 10” cardstock with forest moss ink.
2. Punch out title punch in white cardstock, and distress with forest moss ink.
3. Using tea dye ink, distress both light green cardstock pieces.
4. Using black ink, stamp a sentiment on to title cardstock piece.
5. Use liquid glue to adhere 4 ½” cardstock to card base.
6. Glue title cardstock to top center of light green cardstock layer.
7. Glue leaf spray to left side of card, up one inch from bottom.
8. Run green moss ink over ivory lace to color.
9. Hot glue lace across bottom of card.
10. Hot glue pearls on top of lace.
11. Take cupcake liners and fold in half. Cut middle circle out of liner.
12. Sew a gathering stitch around the bottom of the liners. You will be sewing them together at the same time.
13. Pull thread to gather, and tie a knot. Trim any extra thread away.
14. Hot glue button to center of cupcake flower.
15. Hot glue flower to left side of card, on top of lace/pearls.
16. Glue 4” square to inside of card.
