Hanging Bat Ghosts
These Hanging Bat Ghosts are seriously so very cute. They’re more like friendly Caspar than a spooky poltergeist. Materials:
- FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam: Balls: 4”
- Cheesecloth
- Fabric Paint: Black and White
- Craft Foam Sheet: Black
- Monofilament Line or Craft Wire
- Straight Pins
- Cardstock
- Low-Temp Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Craft Knife
- Hanging Bat Ghosts Template
Instructions:
1. Cut two 12” squares of cheesecloth. Lay squares together so that you have eight corners. Drape the cheesecloth overtop of the ball. Trim cheesecloth as needed.
2. Print templates onto cardstock and cut out. Trace the bat wing template onto the black foam sheet and cut out.
3. Paint the face onto the ghost with the black fabric paint. Add white highlights to the eyes with white fabric paint. Let dry.
4. Cut small slits into each side of the ghost. Glue the wings into the slits.
5. Tie monofilament line or craft wire around a pin and glue into the top of the ghost for a hanger.
