Halloween Mini Goodie Bags

  • White envelope - No 6 3/4
  • Pattern paper in Halloween theme
  • Halloween stamps
  • Halloween sentiment stamps
  • Plain white index cards
  • Decorative edge scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Black ink pad
  • Acrylic block
  • Ric rac or other ribbon
  • Stapler
  • Trimmer
  • Pencil
  • Black marker for doodling
  • Candy

1. Seal back of envelope closed.

2. Use decorative scissors to cut bag in half (for 2 bags) or trim to size you prefer.

3. Insert ribbon into one side of bag, attach with stapler. Do other side the same way to make a handle. The size will depend how wide you want your bag handle.

4. Measure pattern paper by taking bag and laying it on back of paper (or underside) and make a tiny mark with pencil, use trimmer to trim to the size you need.

5. Attach pattern paper to back of bag first , then folding or creasing around side, adhering paper to bag with adhesive. Match paper up around the back of the bag. This will provide you with a smooth front.

6. On an index card, stamp image (of your choice) using black ink.

7. Next, attach sentiment stamp onto clear acrylic block, stamp sentiment under, next to, on top or where ever you choose to align the stamp and sentiment.

8. With scissors trim around edges of stamped image/sentiment. You can add another paper “shadow” but taking a coordinating solid or colored pattern paper and adhering together. Trim shadow paper around edge of image to the preferred size.

9. Adhere image design to front of bag. Decorate with additional ribbon or embellishments.

10. Fill bag with candy and give to a special friend.
