Gender Neutral Baby Shower Themes and Gifts

A lot of people want to be surprised about their baby's gender on their delivery day. Sometimes they just don't want everything to be pink or blue so they aren't defining their child's gender before they're even born. If you're hosting, then you need to plan with a gender neutral baby shower theme, and if you're attending, then you need to find a gift that's gender neutral too.

Green, yellow, and red are great gender neutral colors to use when you're hosting a baby shower or thinking about what gift to give. That being said, it won't be the end of the world if you give a girl a blue shirt or a boy a pink onesie. They're babies! They'll look incredibly cute in anything they're wearing. Easy baby quilts, baby booties, and hats are excellent gifts!

There are baby shower themes that are perfect for every mother-to-be. Nursery is a cute theme; you help fill the baby's nursery or it's nursery rhyme theme. Everyone could bring diapers in different sizes or make a giant diaper cake. Noah's Ark would be a fun theme for twins where guests bring guests "two by two" and the decorations are animals. If none of these appeal to you, then reflect on what the mother-to-be really loves and build your party around her personal needs or interests.

DIY baby shower gifts are a really thoughtful way to show your love and support for your loved one's new stage in her life. It doesn't have to be expensive or complicated. It really is the thought that counts and every new mother will appreciate the kindness and support you give during her pregnancy and ventures into new motherhood.

Oh my this looks like another quilt that I could start learning to quilt with. This would be a great baby shower gift too. I can see this in all types of fabric and even an older childs room. This is going on my list too and may make many of them.

This looks so easy! I am going to learn to quilt using this pattern.

I have a baby shower coming up and I'm not an experienced quilter but this sounds do-able. She loves homemade gifts too, so this is perfect!

I've never tried quilting before, but this quilt sounds so quick and easy that I think I might! It will be a great gift for an upcoming baby shower.

I made one similar to this one several years ago. It was the first quilt I had ever made, so it took me a little longer than thirty mimutes! It was one of those "uh oh, I have to have a gift right NOW" things, but it turned out great.
