I feel like the luckiest bookworm today. I've made bookmarks from scrap fabric and cardstock but they didn't last long. These bookmarks are small so I can make as many as I want and carry some in my purse and car. I always have a book in the car to read when I have time so these bookmarks will be perfect.

This is an easy bookmark craft to do with kids, especially as a birthday or Mothers Day gift idea. The colorful paperclips are inexpensive and just about any button will do although vintage-y ones might be charming. Since the buttons are hot glued to the back of the button take care not to burn fingers with the small size buttons!
