Do you like to decorate for Easter and love using Easter basket than here is a different look instead of the same straw baskets A woven Easter basket. What a novel idea and a great way to use up those scrap pieces of fabric. These baskets will make a cute centerpiece or even to use for baskets if they can be sturdier enough to hold things. I must make one to see. I love this and has a great tuturial too.

i like that. It can actually be done for free, which even beats dollar store prices and it's a lot sturdier and prettier. I am trying to think of how to weave a handle for it. Maybe add it to the basket after it's finished by weaving over what's already there? I am thinking of starting at the top, going down one side, across the bottom and back up, them tying it into a bow at the top. Would that work?
