I love this idea! Now I am excited to look at all the seasonal socks in the store to see what mug cozy I can make for each holiday for everybody I know who drinks coffee. This is way easy. I don't know how to sew, so this is perfect for me.

That's a really cool idea, and fast, too. This one goes in my "quick stocking stuffer" list for next Christmas. I do think I would use glue or stitch the bottom closed because sooner or later, I think the "tuck it in" thing will come undone. I lean more toward stitching it, in case of spills that need to be laundered. (Does anyone launder mug cozies?)
