Until I read the directions for this post, I thought all of the materials were artificial. What a wonderful idea. I have to go digging in the storage shed for the Spring decor box early so that I can find the egg tray that I place out with faux Easter eggs so that I can make this as soon as possible.

Adorable! I love succulents and I would love a unique way in which to display them. I would say that this post is just that. My Mom had a set of egg dishes that we used when we were growing up. I think they would work as holders as well.

This is so stinking cute! Great project for Earth day!

painting the base of an egg carton would be the ideal way to do this and have the holder match or co-ordinate with the room in which it is to be placed. With care one might be able to paint the egg shells too and create a decoration that would last for months even longer

This is really cute and a simple project most everyone can make. Be sure to rinse out the eggshells to make sure they are clean. The designer suggests using a ceramic egg holder, but I bet you could spray paint an egg carton with the color of your choice and get a similar result.
