If you have an abundance of scrap yarn, put it to good use by creating this Scrap Buster Blanket. This beautiful crochet blanket pattern is made with a basket weave stitch which creates a magnificent texture. You'll love how the different colors seem to bleed into each other instead of displaying an abrupt change. Separate your neutral and bright-colored yarn to create two different crocheted blankets with your scraps. This spring-themed project will be perfect for those breezy nights near a bonfire.

I have made stash buster blankets before but never thought of using a Basket weave design. Great idea. I will use it in my next blanket which is very soon. It is winter here in NY and you can never have too many blankets.

This Scrap Buster Blanket really isn't a pattern, just a idea of how to use up your scrap yarn. I love the basket weave pattern video. The idea of using 3 strands of different yarns to make the basket weave will make for a very thick blanket. Great for the cold winter months. Thank you for this free idea..

This looks so freaking cool! It's the best way to get rid of your stash and also brag about how awesome your blanket looks. Win. Win.

Looking forward to trying your Basket Weave Rug. Will convert it to Australian stitching first. Thank you for the inspiration.

Thank you , giving me motivation for alot of my unfinished projects.
