  • Mason Jar
  • Floral wire strips
  • Pliers
  • Tea light
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon

Instructions:

  1. Remove the lid.
     
  2. Carefully wrap the wire around the jar, creating a hanging loop.
     
  3. Tie on piece of ribbon.
     
  4. Add tea light

DIY lanterns are so magical and look amazing in spring and summer and the best part about this one is it's a mason jar lantern. I love how diverse the use for this can get from table centres to porch lighting or even gifts for mother's day.

These are so pretty and seem simple to make. I think they would be beautiful in the summer when it is getting darker to give some light! I also think they would be lovely on tables at a wedding as something different. I will be making these for our outside area!

cute idea. I have been doing this for the past 3 yrs. at my camp. Only thing different I did was I put red, white, blue sand in the bottom of jar and then put the candles in. When not in use I put the lid back on them and just leave them hang on the garden hooks.
