Just follow Carlene's Spool Bunny Place Card Holder tutorial to learn how! This is one of those easy to make Easter decorations that's also cheap to put together, so it's win-win.

Spool Bunny Place Card Holder

  • 2” wooden thread spool
  • 2 1” wooden hearts
  • White acrylic paint
  • Paint brush
  • ¼” white pom pom
  • ½” white pom pom
  • Pink chenille pipe cleaner
  • Tim holtz memo pin
  • Yellow chickie
  • Small bow
  • ¼” black card stock circles
  • Hot glue gun
  • Liquid glue
  • Fine tip sharpie
  • White marker

1. Paint thread spool and hearts. Let dry.

2. Use liquid glue to adhere the 2 black cardstock circles to front of thread spool. These will be the bunny’s eyes.

3. Glue smaller pom pom under eyes.

4. From nose, use black sharpie to draw a line and small circle for mouth.

5. Draw whiskers on each side of nose.

6. Use white marker to dot circles on eyes.

7. Draw dash marks around wooden hearts.

8. Place sides of hearts together and glue as feet, to the bottom of the thread spool.

9. Glue large pom pom to back of thread spool as a tail.

10. Shape chenille pipe cleaner. Form 2 loops as bunny ears.

11. Put hot glue into top hole in thread spool, then place pipe cleaner into hole.

12. Put more hot glue into top, then place memo pin into hole.

13. Placecard can be placed into memo pin for your easter table setting.
