This project is perfect for kids on Earth day. It will teach them how to paint and recycle, funny enough I've never thought of saving plastic bottle caps. As for turning them into magnets, I always worked with metallic soda caps but there are some magnets that can work with this. You could also add this into your handmade terrarium or your plastic flowers at home.

Oh, how cute! I love the red one but mine probably wouldn't look that good. I will have to start saving plastic bottle caps. I like the idea of making them into magnets but I'm not sure about using cardboard to fill them. I have some strong magnets that would hold without anything, I think. Has anyone tried this for magnets?

I absolutely love these bottle cap ladybugs. You can use them on a bracelet, necklace, etc. Awesome idea.

I love ladybugs and these are darling!
