Everyone has a collection of T-shirts that they don't wear anymore, but they keep because of sentimental value (guilty!) but we could all put those shirts to good use by making these Upcycled T-Shirt Tote Bags. Instead of using plastic shopping bags or spending money buying expensive tote bags, make your own DIY tote bags out of your old T-shirts. If you just can't bring yourself to refashion your own shirts, go thrifting and buy some for a couple of dollars at most. You'll be so glad you did when you're at the store and someone compliments your reusable bags!

I totally love this idea. It is an excellent way for me to display some of the wonderful messages from t-shirt graphics out there. I love a lot of these messages but feel like I'm getting to an age where they aren't what I want to wear. Carrying bags with funny or meaningful quips is a lot more desirable to me.

I love it! I am going thrift shopping soon, that's for sure. These are perfect for farmer's markets as well as quick grocery shops. Maybe I will ask my daughter-in-law to save some of the kids' tshirts when they grow out of them. Of course, if she knows what I want to do with them, she will do it herself!

I have some vacation t-shirts that I really should give away, but I still like. They bring back memories of family vacations. Now I have a way to save the shirts, make really cute useful bags, and still have the memories. I like the idea of using cotton shirts to make bags because they will be softer than canvas bags. I'll make one with my son's sports shirt he has outgrown.

This is a great way to reuse old t shirts. I love the idea of using a fun patterned colpred bag to do my shoppong with instead of the boring ones. And also they seem like they would be so easy to wash when
