This looks like a very simple project. The designer included very clear instructions on how to make this old "words" wreath and I know a couple of people that could appreciate instead of trashing a book, re-purposing it. This project is made with few materials and the finished project will be perfect to hang in any room of the house. I think hanging this beside my bookcase would be perfect.

I like the idea that you can take something so simple and make a beautiful piece of art to hang in your home. My family loves to read and we often donate our books to charity. Here is a way to recycle them and ensure that the books never see a landfill.

I have a ton of books I need to get rid of that were given to me. Lots of them are old textbooks that are out of date. Couldn't figure out what else to do with them...here 'tis the answer!

Paper crafting is very fun and rewarding, especially if you can make pretty things like this Old Words Wreath. I have see variations of this craft and have yet to try making one, but plan on doing so this spring. I am in need of a wreath for an interior door and this one fits the bill! Now to find a book that I can use for this purpose-should be easy enough, since I frequent thrift stores looking for items to craft with. Wish me luck, as I wish it for all of you who try to make this beautiful wreath!

I love this decoration! It can work for any season and it's a cool way to re-purpose an old book!
