Valentine's Day Handprint Art

By: Clare Brown from Homeschool of 1
Valentines Day Handprint Art

"Valentine's Day is an occasion for creating keepsakes with children, and free handprint templates offer a fun and memorable way to do this. These crafts, ideal for toddlers, preschoolers, and babies, require basic supplies like cardstock, washable paints, and paintbrushes. With wipes on hand to manage the mess, parents and educators can guide children in making personalized art. The activity involves printing eight different templates on 8.5" x 11" paper, preferably on white cardstock for better quality. The designs range from "I Love You" handprints to messages like "Happy Valentine's Day Mommy/Daddy" and "Happy Valentine's Day to the best parents in the world." There's also a handprint flower and a footprint template saying "I love you from the top of my head to the tip of my toes." Children can choose paint colors for their handprints and footprints, which are then carefully pressed onto the templates to create a unique craft. Each template conveys a warm, loving message, making these crafts ideal gifts for parents and loved ones."
