"Decorate for Easter with these Colorful Paper Easter Eggs! You even get to make the glue for this craft, out of sugar! All you need to make this fun craft is: 1 cup all-purpose flour, 3 tablespoons Imperial Sugar, Extra Fine Granulated Sugar, 1 cup cold water, 1 cup boiling water, Construction Paper, Scrap Paper, Scissors (we used some patterned scissors for some of our scraps), Glitter, Markers or crayons, Sugar paste, and Paint brushes. "

Materials List

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Construction Paper
  • Scrap Paper
  • Scissors (we used some patterned scissors for some of our scraps)
  • Glitter
  • Markers or crayons
  • Sugar paste , and a paint brush

Instructions

  1. Trace the shape of an egg onto a sheet of construction paper and cut it out. This will be the base for our project.

  2. Cut your scrap paper into strips. We used patterned scissors to make different designs onto our eggs.

  3. Use the sugar paste to attach the scrap paper strips onto your eggs.

  4. You can place colored strips of paper in different patterns to make your Easter eggs extra fun. You could even cut the scrap paper into squares to make confetti eggs!
