Glass etching is such a subtle way to upcycle glass bottles and jars into decorative pieces. I love how beautiful this pattern appears on colored glasses so I'll save this for later. For baby showers you could try etching the baby's name on the glass if you already know it. I wouldn't recommend this as a gift for the baby but it would make a wonderful flower vase the mother could use.

I have seen etched glass projects before but I think this is the first project I have seen that a colored bottle was used. I really want to try this now that I have seen the designer use a green bottle. I will be visiting a friend that may just have a few bottles I can grab and recycle and make this project. Thanks for the free pattern.

This is not the first glass etching project that I have seen. Each time I see the application, I just want to stop what I am doing and get started. I have a lot of things I want to personalize by etching. I am going straight away to find etching cream right now so that excuse can be tossed out the window. Thanks for the inspiration.
