Fourth of July Fireworks CardFollow this fun, creative video tutorial by Carlene Eshelman for making a Fourth of July Fireworks Card. Patriotic homemade cards are more than just greeting cards; you can use them as free-standing decorations or as invitations to a 4th of July barbecue. All you need to make this card is colored paper and some bright red ribbons!

Materials:

  • 5-1/2” x 11” white cardstock
  • 5-1/2” blue square cardstock
  • liquid adhesive
  • Double sided tape
  • Flourish bling(optional)
  • 7-3/4” red ribbon strips
  • Rocket drawing(hand drawn)
  • Red and blue paper scraps

Instructions:

  1. Fold white cardstock in half. This is your card base.

  2. Lay red ribbon onto front of white cardstock. Use adhesive tape.

  3. Fold over excess ribbon to back of card.

  4. Glue 5-1/2” blue cardstock over ribbon ends.

  5. Cover rocket with red and blue paper scraps.

  6. Glue across top of card base.

  7. Arrange “July 4” letters and number onto front of card. Glue down.

  8. Add flourish bling to card.
